What is a Barcamp?

A Barcamp is an unconference where attendees do not take on the passive role of the audience, but actively participate. The focus is on exchange, openness, and collaborative learning. Barcamps are often very intense and interactive, filled with discussions, presentations, and other formats. Everyone who has something to contribute or wants to learn is warmly welcomed – but above all, encouraged and invited to participate.
