About pib
pib stands for printable intelligent bot and is a 3D-printable, humanoid robot made by isento. As an open-source project, pib depends not only on the work of isento employees, but above all on the collaboration of community members. The 3D print data, detailed building instructions, program code, AI skills and a knowledge database are freely available online to anyone interested.
pib is currently being used at over 35 schools and educational institutions to enable a hands-on learning environment and introduce students to topics such as CAD, artificial intelligence, robotics, physics, bionics and programming in an interdisciplinary way. Awards such as the Civic Innovation Award, the Munich Digital Innovation Award and the recent Jugend Forscht award not only make us very proud, but also show how much quality and innovative strength pib has – and all that made in Franconia.
