Neck
In order to construct the neck, you will need to print all neck parts and have the following non-printable parts from our Pib kit.
- 17 M3 nuts
- 6 M3 8 mm screws
- 4 M3 10 mm screw
- 3 M3 12 mm screws
- 3 M3 25 mm screw
- 9 20mm metal rods
- 18 2.5x5x2.3 ball bearings
- 3 3x10x4 ball bearings
- 3 10x19x7 ball bearings
- 4 MG996R servo motors
- Insert 3 3x10x4 ball bearings in A05-Neck_base.


- Place 3 A06_Neck_base_connector in the shown spot in A05_Neck_base. Place A07_Neck_servo_connectors inside 10x19x7 ball bearings and insert them in the shown spots to fix A06_Neck_base_connectors.






- Connect A13_Neck_driven_bevel_gear to the A07_Neck_servo_connectors in this orientation using 1 M3 nut and 1 M3 25 mm screw, repeat this step 2 more times.





- Place 6 M3 nuts, 3 MG996R servos in shown spots and fix them using 6 M3 8 mm screw.





- Connect A12_Neck_driving_bevel_gear to servo motor using 1 M3 12 mm screw while meshing the gears’ teeth together with a smooth interaction, repeat this step 2 more times.


- Place 2.5x5x2.3 ball bearings in the shown spots in A08_Neck_arm, repeat this step 2 more times for 2 other A08_Neck_arm.

- Connect the 3 A08_Neck_arm to the 3 A06_Neck_base_connector using 20mm metal rods while maintaining the shown orientation.


- Connect the tops of the 3 A08_Neck_arm to 3 A10_Neck_head_connector using 20mm metal rods.



- Place 6 2.5x5x2.3 ball bearings in the shown spots in A09_Neck_head.


- Place 4 M3 nuts in A09_Neck_head, an MG996R servo and fix it using 4 M3 12mm screws.




- Connect the A10_Neck_head_connector to A09_Neck_head using 20mm metal rods.
