Bring your pib to life and actively participate in its further development.

Activate pib

Your pib is fully assembled. Now you can teach him how to move and speak. This is easily done using our open-source software „cerebra“. cerebra was developed specifically for pib to make it easier for newcomers to get started in the world of robotics.

Let pib Move

With cerebra, pib’s body parts can be controlled and moved. You can set movement sequences as poses.

You can also freely program your own movement sequences. pib uses Blockly for this. With Blockly, you can snap together colored blocks like puzzle pieces. This generates code in the background for pib’s movements, so you don’t need to be a programmer — but you definitely can be! Since the software is completely open source, experienced coders can dive right into Python or ROS 2 and customize everything to their needs.

cerebra also features an integrated voice assistant. The assistant accesses language models that pib uses to communicate.

CAD Design: Bring your CAD skills to life with the pib project! Dive into 3D design with Onshape and take our humanoid robot to the next level. Software Design: Explore and develop a wide range of topics in the field of humanoid robot software. Electronics: Explore and develop a wide range of topics in the field of mechatronics for humanoid robots.

Find A Task And Get Started

We use Jira and Confluence to organize our work. Search our ticketing system to see open tasks and create a free account to get started. You can find all information regarding the ticket system and the individual areas of responsibility in our Knowledge Base.

pib.Community and Support

We handle our daily communication and weekly meetings via Discord. Join our open-source robotics project to connect with the team, ask questions, share your ideas and progress and collaborate in real time. You are also welcome to help out with project management or documentation. Even if you are a full-stack robotics engineer skilled in CAD, electronics and programming, you can combine those skills with pib. Whoever you are, you are welcome!
